Abstract
The azoyl ester fraction prepared from crude gyptol, the sex attractant of virgin femal gypsy moths, yielded by chromatography several colored zones which were found to be attractive to male gypsy moths. It was concluded from the evidence presented that by the aid of the absorbancy-ratio process essentially pure azoates could be resolved which differed one from another possibly because of spatial configuration or the presence of more than 1 gyptol. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
