The pseudoisochromatic tests (TMC [Tokyo Medical College] Ishihara, AOH-R-R [American Optical Hardy-Rand-Ritter test]) are relatively independent of age. In the Panel D-15, the NCT [new color test] box 6/4 and the desaturated panel, aging progresses with blue-yellow confusions. Fault-positive red-green confusions result from D8/2 examination. The FM progresses 100 Hue test and the Anomaloscope Nagel data were confirmed. In patients with nuclear cataract there is no increased shift of the Rayleigh equation towards the green, but there is an increased shift towards the red.
