Universality and the critical specific heat ofβ-brass

Abstract
The specific-heat data of Ashman for -brass are reanalyzed and shown to agree with parameters for liquid-gas and anisotropic magnetic transitions. Good agreement between experimental values and both series and -expansion values is noted.
