Abstract
A 9-year-old boy with Down's syndrome developed a glomerulonephritis associated with crescents and anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA). The patient also had type 1 diabetes mellitus, chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis, and bronchial asthma. Prednisone therapy resulted in an improvement in renal function and a reduction in ANCA titers. Keywords
