Abstract
Six insecticide-resistant strains of house flies(Musca domestica L.) with diverse resistance mechanisms were evaluated for susceptibility to diazinon, dieldrin, DDT, and permethrin and their potential cross-resistance to abamectin (avermectin B1). No significant cross-resistance was observed. Therefore, abamectin (and other avermectins) should prove effective against insect strains resistant to other classes of insecticides. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
