Multiple-Phonon-Resonance Raman Effect in CdS

Abstract
Data are presented that tie the multiple-phonon-resonance Raman effect in CdS to the fluorescent-emission spectrum. The one-phonon selection rules differ from those of the ordinary Raman effect. A possible theoretical approach to this effect is suggested.Keywords
