Abstract
From our experience with 45 children with urinary tract infection and constipation, the improvement or cure of 80% by correcting abnormal bowel habits suggests that constipation may be an etiological factor in urinary tract infections. While successful regulation of bowel habits was accompanied by termination of the infection, failure to correct constipation was associated with recurrence.Keywords
