Abstract
The effect of luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) on plaama prolactin (PRL) was studied in eight acromegalic patients. After LHRH injection a significant increase in plasma prolactin levels was obtained in three of them. This non specific prolactin response to LHRH represents an additional proof of the well known abnormalities of pituitary hormone response to various stimuli in acromegaly. Keywords
