Abstract
We develop the Hamiltonian hypersurface dynamics of the gravitational field derivatively coupled to general tensor sources. The closing of constraints follows from the independence of the hypersurface action on the path in the space of embeddings. The derivative coupling breaks the DeWitt supermetric in Riem (m).Keywords
