Abstract
In order to evaluate the relative merits of two commercial hot lunch programs, data were collected using a rating of consumption, a parental questionnaire, and a child's questionnaire. The data from the two schools participating in the programs were compared in the context of similar comparisons between two control schools which were matched with the experimental schools on the basis of size and socioeconomic level. Consumption ratings and data from the parental questionnaire supported one of the two programs. Consumption ratings and ratings of children's preferences correlated .87 ( p < .005).Keywords
