Abstract
A satisfactory medium for rearing the colding moth, Carpocapsa pomonella (L.), is discussed and procedures for preparations are described. Malformation of larvae, pupae, and adults is mentioned. The importance of ascorbic acid in the medium is discussed and tabulated. About 60% of newly hatched larvae placed on the medium developed and emerged as normal adults. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
