Abstract
Dynamic computer simulation of urban subsystems provides a number of important advantages for the regional analyst. However, there are a number of difficulties associated with using conventional engineering analysis in systems with a major social component. A number of these difficulties are discussed here. One of the more important of these is the problem of social value structures and implicit goals of society and the modeler. Keywords
