Abstract
A new technique for the construction of pulse transformers using bifilar lines is described. Risetimes shorter than 0.5 nsec and decay times larger than 10 μsec may be obtained. Small size and ease of construction suggest that more elaborate transformers capable of more complicated analogue operations, such as addition or subtraction, could become practical. An example shows an arrangement which starting from two voltages, V1 and V2, provides V1+V22, −V1−V22, −V1+V22, and V1−V22.Keywords
