Abstract
The low-lying levels of Bi210 are analyzed in detail, by using the j-j coupling odd-group model with the residual Gaussian potential and Brueckner's K matrix. The J dependence of matrix elements is explained in terms of simple kinematical factors. As the K matrix, the values obtained from the BGT and the HJ potentials are examined. It is found that the results with the BGT potential are considerably different from those of the Gaussian potential simulated for the BGT potential by Kim and Rasmussen, deviating from the experimental spectrum, while the results with the HJ potential are in good agreement with the experimental spectrum. With the value of the β-decay parameter, eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are also studied. Keywords
