Abstract
Immunological studies of 13 strains of foot-and-mouth disease virus recovered from the epizootic in Mexico indicated that all were of the "Vallee A type" of virus. None of the accumulated evidence suggested that any infective agent, other than the virus of foot-and-mouth disease, was present in any of the 13 samples of infectious material collected from cattle in Mexico. Keywords
