Abstract
The value of preoperative hemostatic screening tests in prediction of surgical bleeding was examined in 101 patients, mainly with abdominal and thyroid lesions. A complete lack of correlation between the preoperative evaluation of bleeding risk and the observed surgical bleeding (.chi.2 test P .apprx. 0.85) was demonstrated. Keywords
