Abstract
The four compact sources to the east of Sgr A East at $$l=-0^\circ.02, b=-0^\circ.07$$ have been observed by the Very Large Array (VLA) with a resolution of 3arcsec in the H76α line at 14.7 GHz. The sources are HII regions with velocities in the range 43 to 52 km s−1. These H II regions are almost certainly regions of recent star formation that can be associated with the 50 km s−1 molecular cloud.
