Abstract
A total of 7885 mosquitoes in 7 spp., was collected in Weld County, Colorado, 1950 and tested for neurotropic viruses. WEE virus was recovered on 2 occasions from A. dorsalis. This is the first recovery of this virus from Aedes in the Midwest. No virus was recovered from 1141 Culex tarsalis collected concurrently.Keywords
