Characteristic Difference for0+→0+and0+→1+ (He3,p)Transitions in the2s−1dShell

The (${}_{}{}^3{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{He},p$) reaction has been studied on all even-even targets from ${}_{}{}^{16}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{O}$ to ${}_{}{}^{28}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Si}$. In all cases the $0^{+}\to 0^{+}$ transitions exhibit a characteristic difference from the $0^{+}\to 1^{+}$ transitions. This absence of pure $L=0\mathrm{}$, $0^{+}\to 1^{+}$ transitions can presumably be understood in terms of configuration mixing.
