Abstract
Ponec et al. (July 15 issue)1 reported that treatment with neostigmine rapidly decompresses the colon in patients with acute colonic pseudo-obstruction who have not had a response to conservative therapy. Symptomatic bradycardia, however, developed in two patients.Keywords
