Abstract
Experimental values of thermoelectric power at room temperature of single crystal bismuth films were found to remain constant from 1500 A to 6000 A film thickness, indicating a predominantly specular reflection of the charge carriers from the film surfaces. A decrease is, however, observed at small thicknesses which is not in accord with the classical size effect theory. Keywords
