Abstract
The optimal form and dimensions of hand-grips for handling certain types of concrete building blocks were found by theoretical considerations and laboratory experiments. Such grips wore found to reduce the physiological workload considerably. The maximal lifting power proved to be a far bettor criterion for the evaluation of minor changes in dimensions of handgrips than energy expenditure or heart rate during work. Keywords
