Abstract
For 31 highly excited states of Field dissociation probabilities of a value of the dissociation probability as a function of the electric field is computed. The field range is from 5 × 103 to 1 × 105 V/cm. The accuracy, mainly governed by the neglect of the Stark shift, is 5 to 7 per cent. There is good agreement with experimental observations. Keywords
