Abstract
Four species of phlebotomine sand flies from the southern USA were reared using a larval diet of rabbit feces and laboratory chow. Preparation of the diet, outlined in this note, includes “ageing” (fermentation) to eliminate larval mortality due to excessive fungal growth.Keywords
