Abstract
Molecular Raman spectra taken at high resolution with high sensitivity reveal spectral features that have not previously been observed and which can be employed to obtain quantitative information on rotational and other kinetic behavior of the molecules. Data are given for N and C molecular impurities in alkali halides to illustrate potential applications.
