Abstract
A method of efficient enzymatic hydrolysis of polyprenyl pyrophosphates was established. Polyprenyl pyrophosphates such as all-trans-octaprenyl and all-trans-nonaprenyl (solanesyl) pyrophophate can be hydrolyzed completely to the corresponding primary alcohols by the action of potato acid phosphatase in the presence of 60% (vol/vol) methanol. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
