Abstract
The source of infection in 2 cases of neonatal meningitis caused by a flavobacterium appeared to be a bottle of saline used for eyewash. Both infants were severely affected and suffered permanent brain damage. Vancomycin or erythromycin given intra-thecally seemed to be the most effective therapy, but sterilization of the central nervous system was difficult. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
