Abstract
In the past 2 yr, specially constructed, short-leg casts were used as an adjunct to the therapy program for 99 patients with cerebral palsy. The casts provide tone reduction and increased stability, while allowing mobility, and have been useful in initiating weight-bearing activities and improvement of gait pattern.
