Abstract
1. An analysis of the results of intravenous drip infusion and the conventional injection cholangiography are compared. 2. The two methods show approximately the same number of cases of visualisation of the gall-bladder and bileducts. 3. There is no advantage to be gained by using the higher dosage in patients with jaundice. 4. An increased incidence of cholegraphic pyelograms were produced in cases of jaundice. 5. A significant reduction of side effects was observed with the infusion method because of a uniform even rate of introduction and this method of administration is recommended with the usual dose. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
