Abstract
The return of ex-mental patients to the hospital is examined in terms of personal behavior and interpersonal events. Some correlates of rehospitalization, including aberrant behavior, work status, and family setting, are discussed. It is suggested that family rejection of ex-patients involves considerations of social adjustment, apart from issues of psychological health or illness. Keywords
