Abstract
Various approaches to the problem of generating spectral estimates from randomly sampled signals are discussed. A practically useful technique is developed and demonstrated by applying it to simulated data. The variability of the alias-free spectral estimates so obtained is shown to conform to theoretical predictions. Keywords
