Abstract
Frequency acceleration of voltage endurance has been the subject of a large number of research papers. A review of those papers reveals that it is not a priori possible to rely upon obtianing linearity of acceleration. It is shown that the appropriate acceleration factor for micaceous insulation can only be determined with very long term testing. Keywords
