Abstract
A bubble chamber film measuring system is described. Measurement is performed manually on the projected image employing an essentially bipolar coordinate system. The lengths of wires between the measured point and the two drums are determined from the rotation of the two drums which are mounted on optical angle encoders. The accuracy of the system when measuring test grids is ±4 μ on film. The measuring device and the procedure, speed, and accuracy of measuring bubble chamber events are discussed. Keywords
