Abstract
The northern part of the H II region W51 has been observed with the Cambridge One-Mile telescope at 2·7 and 5 GH z . Compact components are found whose emission measures agree well with those derived from a non-LTE analysis of recombination line data (Hjellming & Davies). The two brightest condensations coincide with 2 µ infrared sources, and must be ionized by more than one O-star.
