Eleven species of Loxosomatidae from Woods Hole, Mass., Beaufort, N. c., and Miami, Fla. are described; eight species are new to science including one representing a new genus. The budding of Loxosomella kefersteini has been followed and it appears that a bud is formed in only 5–6 days. Keywords
