Abstract
The four heptacarboxylic acid porphyrins (2b-e) and the four pentacarboxylic acid porphyrins (2f-i) which can be derived by the decarboxylation of the acetic acid side chains of uroporphyrin 111 have been prepared by ring synthesis and characterized as their methyl esters.Keywords
