Abstract
The nematocysts of the three species of Leptomedusae, Aequorea forskalea, A. vitrina, and A. pensilis, and of the two siphonophores Agalma elegans and Velella velella are described. The specific characters of the three species of Aequorea are discussed and it is shown that A. pensilis is probably the same species as A. macrodactylaKeywords
