Abstract
A design for tongue flaps that utilizes the full thickness of the hemimobile tongue that provides mucosal lining, muscle bulk and a long, supple, nonrestricting pedicle is described. The method was used in 6 children who had large palatal defects and allowed complete and permanent closure without any of the complications previously associated with lingual flaps. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
