Abstract
A novel GaAs-AlGaAs electrooptic modulator utilizing push-pull metal electrodes was fabricated using substrate removal techniques and polymer integration. The scheme enables a significant drive voltage reduction over previous designs and should enable ultrahigh-speed adjustable chirp operation. Keywords
