Abstract
A small single-stranded circular DNA has previously been reported to be associated with foliar decay disease of coconut palm in Vanuatu. Here we describe the isolation of unusual 20-nm icosahedral particles which copurify with foliar decay disease DNA and which we consider to be the coconut foliar decay virus. This virus seems to represent a novel group of plant viruses. Keywords
