Abstract
The results of Mössbauer measurements on the intermetallic compounds (Fe1-xCox)2B (0 ࣘ x < 1), (Fe1-xCox)Be (0 ࣘ x ࣘ 0,5) and (Fe1-xMnx)Be2 (0 ࣘ x < 1) are presented. The electron density (i. e. the isomer shift) at the iron sites remains unchanged for alloying in each of these systems. The hyperfine field values suggest a nearly constant iron moment in (Fe1-xCox)2B and (Fe1-xCox)B, whereas it decreases in (Fel-xMnx)Be2. The comparison with the average magnetization for the (Fe1-xCox)2B and (Fe1-xMnx)Be2 compounds suggests an important decrease in the magnetic moments of Co and Mn atoms, respectivelyKeywords
