Cerebral venous angioma

Abstract
A case of venous angioma involving the frontal lobe is presented with surgical and histological confirmation. Only two other angiographically diagnosed cases have been reported previously in the literature. This case tends to support the entity of cerebral venous angioma as a distinct, though rare, type of cerebral vascular malformation. Les auteurs présentent un cas d'angiome veineux du lobe frontal avec confirmation chirurgicale et histologique. La littérature ne mentionne que 2 autres cas diagnostiqués par l'angiographie. Cette observation est en faveur de l'hypothèse selon laquelle l'angiome veineux cérébral, bien que rare, est à considérer comme une malformation vasculaire cérébrale. Fallbeschreibung eines 19jährigen Mannes mit einem venösen Angiom im Bereich des Frontallappens. Bisher wurden nur 2 weitere angiographisch untersuchte Patienten in der Literatur beschrieben. Es ergibt sich daraus die Seltenheit von cerebralen venösen Angiomen.
