Abstract
No significant difference can be noted between the plasma-protein levels of Europeans and of the African native. A distinctly lower hemoglobin level is, however, present among the natives. Since this level can be raised to that of the European by means of proper diet and anti-malarial therapy, it is apparent that the difference heretofore noted is one of the environmental rather than of racial character.
