Abstract
The behaviour of superfluid 3He in the presence of a magnetic field is discussed assuming an L = 1 pairing. In particular we predict a new phase with a spatially non uniform (sinusoidal) order parameter. These results are extended in order to take into account strong-coupling effects and we show how measurements under a magnetic field may provide information on the phenomenological Landau coefficientsKeywords
