Abstract
An optimisation technique as well as a sensitivity analysis for multiplexing networks are presented. The method uses exact partial derivatives of circuit responses with respect to all design parameters. The equivalent circuit includes channel filters, waveguide spacings and a three-port waveguide junction.A 12 channel contiguous multiplexer at Ku band has been designed. Use of an efficient model and automatic decomposition approaches resulted in an excellent simulation performance of the presented multiplexer. Keywords
