Abstract
, and repeated courses can be given, affording further palliation for a substantial period of time. We do not have data to answer the question whether higher doses of radiation would be more effective in obtaining better and longer-lasting responses. We do not have criteria by which we can eliminate patients who will not be benefitted by radiation therapy prior to a therapeutic trial.
