Use of N-Carboxyanhydrides in the Synthesis of Dipeptides. The Improvement of Isolated Yields by the Facile Removal of Buffer Components

Abstract
A modification of the N-carboxyanhydride synthesis of dipeptides is described. An improvement in the yield during dipeptide preparation is made possible by use of only organic acids and bases during the reaction to facilitate their removal before product isolation.
