Abstract
A new method of preparing block copolymers of styrene and methacrylic acid is described. It is based upon use of the anionically initiated “living chain” method to prepare block copolymers of styrene and methyl methacrylate, with subsequent hydrolysis of the methyl methacrylate block to methacrylic acid. Keywords
