Abstract
In this process of differentiation there is involved no attempt to determine empirically an equation capable of representing the given data sufficiently well to admit differentiation. On the contrary, a differentiating tool is applied successively to various small sections of the data. This tool is the fourth degree polynomial determined by five points. Keywords
