Abstract
Using a pure monodisperse system of kaolinite particles of known diameter and thickness, it has been possible to calculate with a fair degree of precision the thickness of the water film separating the particles and the variation in thickness of this film for different pressures. It has also been possible to calculate with considerable certainty the force acting between two clay particles. Keywords
